InDesign Health

InDesign Health‘s founders are passionate about addressing the increasing incidence of chronic diseases by designing holistic, evidence-based solutions. InDesign Health’s Health Risk Assessment was designed based on the 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine, including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, restorative sleep, social connection, and other factors. Our Health Risk Assessment provides evidence-based information as feedback to help empower individuals to make better decisions for optimal health.

Our company vision is a world where everyone proactively prevents chronic diseases through accessible, personalized risk insights and empowering guidance. Our mission is to design solutions that drive healthy habits and that empower individuals to be more actively involved in their overall health and wellbeing.

Designing Holistic, Evidence-Based Solutions

Solutions Built on the Following 6 Pillars:

Nutrition

Food is medicine. Whether you're looking to lose weight, build muscle, or just feel better, what you put into your body affects your overall health and wellbeing. Eating a whole food, predominantly plant-based diet is an important strategy in preventing, treating, and reversing chronic diseases.

Physical Activity

Exercise helps you to stay healthy, both mentally and physically.

Stress Management Techniques

Stress is a major contributor to poor health. Stress management techniques can help to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing.

Avoidance of Risky Substances

The use of tobacco, alcohol, and recreational drugs increases the risk of chronic diseases and death. Educational resources and support are essential to accomplish abstinence.

Restorative Sleep

Inadequate sleep can lead to depressed mood, weight gain, insulin resistance, decreased performance, and other negative health consequences. Adequate sleep  is essential for optimal physical and mental health.

Social Connection

Positive social connections affect physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as increases longevity.
